Crafting 2014 Final bits.
“A Rare Sight” is finally framed. I couldn’t be prouder if I had landed the beastie with a rod. It is in the hallway as a horrible warning to read the small print when buying kits online in a sale. 18dpn on navy blue is just a tad ambitious.
It isn’t totally alone as the tiles in the vestuable have a fish border.
I’m making Nikki Tervo’s “Quilting Mouse” quilt at my own speed.
Here is the block so far. I am taking my time and enjoying making something so cute.
This crochet blanket was my take on this pattern but I wanted it to be more like silver birch trunks with falling leaves.
A Nancy Halvorsen wall hanging applique.
“Angels are Watching over You”.
You know how it is when you make something and then you realise you should’ve done the mirror image?
Well that is what I had with this chap.
The snowball languished unappreciated until this Christmas.
When I made it its very own quilt from the left overs of the triple snowball one. Design and fabrics by Lynette Anderson.
Bless them little birds,
and bless them honey bees
Bless them Winter flowers.
And bless them Christmas trees.
A Natalie Bird pattern called “Deck the Halls” I wanted the fabric to feel almost like that fern frost pattern you used to get on Winter windows before double glazing.
A robin bower bird wreath from Attic 24s pattern
Symmetrical back- aren’t you impressed? I was!
Fellow blogger Yvonne W’s pattern and button for this mini wall hanging.
I tried to make the front symmetrical too.
Same design but a different Yvonne W button.
And just as pretty.
And lastly this little mouse cushion from a Simply Vintage magazine.
So mice last year and mice this year. 🙂 I am so consistent!
…
What plans do you have for 2015 or are you still in that delicious plotting and scheming stage?
What joint projects are in Blogland for people to think about signing up to this year?
These courses have had me busy for so long. It will be good to finish them this Summer.
