End of April Doings
Simone sent me some beautiful fabric.
This was a little thank you to her for her generosity.
Of course I then had to make some Tilda roses for myself.
They looked good with other Easter things.
I’ve been painting a lot this week. Our anniversary arch was in danger of rotting away so I gave it a makeover.
Love the way these colours interact! It got me all inspired. More later.
The cooking apple is in blossom. So pretty.
In the front garden the scent of the wallflowers reminds me of Summer.
The last flowering tulip almost like stained glass as the sun shine through it.
The bluebells are 2 weeks early. They look good under the pieris.
I had a phone call from a local charity asking for a 30″ coat for an uber cute lurcher just come in called Gordon.
I made this yesterday for him.
Unfortunately it was a bit big so I will make him another in a 28″.
I have more of this purple waterproofing -DMC shade 333 like in this close up- not the more blue colour in the 1st coat pic.
Remember me saying how I liked the pink and blue?
Well I ended up painting the garage doors in cherry blossom pink.
The beech is beautiful against the blue.
So this is what I’ve been mainly doing this week. The patio is freshly power washed ready for Summer.
Inside all 4 of the Autumn felt quilt are sewn. I CANNOT make a decision about the border.
I know what the problem is- none of what I have looks right.
I’ve put it to one side awaiting inspiration.
A row of cars is ready to drive to Pumpkinville.
Below them is a little sneak peek on a scrap project I am doing alongside Tracy.
For those who want to see Elf Garden, please look in the store link. I tried to add a pic here but it wouldn’t work.
I’ll talk to the resident teckies.
