Banishing January Blues
At last I have some things I can share here. The knitting was made from the book in the above pic.
One ball of Calico DK yarn made 2 bibs and a wash cloth.
The strawberry outfit is made in DK yarn.
The rose trimmed set is made in 4 ply. I need to get some more white ribbon for the mittens.
My foot is finally showing signs of healing. There is talk of more nerve damage but things are headed in the right direction. I can now stand for a few hours in the craft room.
I thought I would go into my drawer of fav fabrics by Laurel Burch and make some lovelies.
So I now have this wallhanging with 4 borders made from a pre printed panel all ready for Christmas 2013.
The colours are so gorgeous and deserve to be seen, so why have I kept the fabrics in a drawer for so long?
The back is made from more Laurel Burch Christmassy fabric.
Remember this panel Deb? It is now hanging on the landing. Beautiful rich colours.
My advice for the week is to banish the January blues by picking out some of your fav fabrics and making something for yourself with them.
