Fireworks Pendants Makings

Come for a moonlit walk past the old Grafton Threatre which I have told you about before.
See the art deco window
above it are the Greek masks.
The old bandstand.
We are here to see the British Musical Firework Championships.
The sound and size were huge.
Looks like a snowman.
Butterflies over the red roses from the song Wonderful World. Amazing display which fitted the song very well.
This view gives you an idea of the size.
Many were complex shapes.
So much thought and effort had gone in.
These were like mushrooms.
Palm trees.
A bouquet.
And a smiley face.

Have a look for yourselves. It lasts a minute. I’d turn the sound down if you have any pets who might be scared of the noise.

Look what I bought from Annie Coe in her Etsy shop.
She sent the joy pendant too which will be lovely for Daughter as a special 18th birthday gift. The Dream one is for me. I love crows and saw a crow face in this one as well as my fav shade of blue. I knew it ought to be mine. 🙂 Ever had that when you just know something will be perfect? Well it is even better in the flesh -so much lighter to wear than I expected. Wonderful! Love it! Thank you Annie.
I’ve managed to cram in a little sewing. Back of cushion cover in sherpa fleece. (Like lamb’s wool in texture).
And this is the front 22″ square.
All in flannels- each square was 1 1/2″ cut so down to 1″ when sewn.
0-3 month hat.
Crazy Christmas progress 1-10 all together with the quilt as you go method.
I should’ve shared this with you yesterday- the final block of Busy Little Christmas Elves. I’m making it with Suzie and Simone.
It is a great fun quilt and I love these little chaps.
I pieced the back in purples.
And here is the finished front.
This is another finish. Autumn Table Runner which I made with Simone.
Aren’t the fabrics perfect for the season?

Today I’ve been busy with what I think may be the best quilt I have ever made. OOooo I could hug it! I’ll share on the 9th. 🙂
