Spring Colours, Makings

Wesley Street shops have some lovely colours perfect for the sunshine.
I spotted this gorgeous bag in Lakeland by Bulaggi- so unusual in lovely Spring colours too. The tassel had 5 leather flowers shaped like bells made from circles of leather drawn together to form 6 petals from beneath. Lovely idea- pic of what I’m trying to describe in the link.

For Autumn though I think it would be hard to beat the Toadstool Bag by Radley.
Block 3 of Crazy Christmas by Lynette Anderson is complete using the quilt as you go method.
The top of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Hugs and Kisses.
The 7 stars top and bottom are extra as I couldn’t count properly so made double the number of dark blue bits. Am hunting for a backing now. The link shows it in a red colourway which photographs better so you can see the stitcheriesmore clearly there.
The aran ball ends (comes in 400g balls) have now made a cosy blanket for Angel the quilt rustler. Maybe some of us humans will be able to cosy under the quilts on a chilly evening now. 🙂
