Pond House 1, Night Before Christmas 2, BOMs

Well I’m half an hour early in showing this block. It’s the 1st of Lynette Anderson’s “Pond House”. Deb Darlene and I are all doing it sharing the blocks on the 9th of each month.
Mine is inspired by a visit to Monet’s house in Giverny, France.
The colours I have chosen owe a big debt to the flowers in the garden there.
I used bright and vibrant batiks. If you have the chance to go to Giverny then do -inside the house is every bit as special as the outside. There is a blog “Giverny Impression” which shows some inside pics. It is written by a lady who works there.

I am getting organised with little boxes of prepared bits for the 4 BOMs
And the pile of finished blocks is mounting up.
“Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.”
This is Block 2 of Night Before Christmas. I am meant to show it on the 24th of each month but as it is ready ahead of time and I’m not making it with anyone, I am free to share early.
Now I will be like this mouse and take myself off to bed.
