Weather Burns Pamper Pillows, wallhanging.

We’ve had fog this week
and snow today
So time to stay inside.
We had haggis on Burns Night (25th January)
On daughter’s day off school we decided to have a spa day at home. The Body Shop sale was very good for supplies.
As was TK Max. The Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit hand wash and lotion smells gorgeous.
We spotted the perfect drink bottle for me.
And a lovely evening dress for her.
But enough gos about the week, come and have a cuppa in the craft room while I catch you up with some makings.
I’ve had a bash at making pillowcases for Jackie’s guild’s charity the Hole in the Wall Gang.
It helps 7-15 year old ill children by providing an adventure holiday for them free of charge.
These pillowcases get to go home with them to keep as a momento.
All these 6 are rose themed. There was only going to be 3 originally as they are my charity PIF with Lynn. But I got clever with the fabric and made the offcuts of one be the edging of the other in the same colourway. Lynn came up with the idea of a charity PIF as she had begun my gift.
I hope the girls who use these will have sweet dreams surrounded by the roses.
Like little princesses.
They were washed in this special Tuscan Lavender detergent. The liquid is iridescent- shimmering like a beetle’s wing. I wanted them to be very special.
So here they are packed in 2’s peach, lilac and pink roses.

If you have the odd couple of metres of fabric in your stash that you can spare, why not turn them into 2 pillowcases for the charity?

This wallhanging is all ready to be hand stitched then backed and bound. Nice work for over the weekend.
