Twasn’t the Night Before Christmas but…

Last present all bound is now wrapped ready to deliver.

I’ll now share a special moment:
Last night I woke at 3am to see it snowing. So special and magical.
Locals say it hasn’t been like this since the 1960s. (This could explain why Sefton Council neglected to grit even the main roads in and out of town yet the neighbouring councils didn’t have any trouble in organising themselves.)
Anyway now isn’t the time for my soap box- just look at the magical scene. I felt a little like Tom in Tom’s Midnight Garden.
I caught the reflection of the Christmas Tree in the garden.
So had made a snow chair the night before.
Snow angel in shallow snow.
Christmas is such a special time when we can all share in the magic of making other people smile by thinking of them.
Presents from dearly loved people are under the tree- all partof the warm glow which stretches all around the world.
Into this magic came a little more magic. Although it was 3am here I looked at my email while son ate hot buttered toast- he was sharing in the magic too, so excited.

Do you remember my letter to Santa via the Fat Quarter shop? Their blog Jolly Jabber asked people to choose from the shop most what they would love Santa to bring them. Well there was an email from them asking for my address so they could post Laurel Burch’s Dancing Horses to me! I was already having such a magical night what with being up and it snowing and then that! I felt like making a snow angel in my nightie then and there and hang the consequences!

Thank you so much Jocelyn for granting my Christmas wish and helping to make so many people feel as special as I am now feeling.
Ooo lastly -here’s one I made earlier- a few of you said you didn’t realise I mucked about with glass every now and then. This is my front door I used rippled glass just under the waterfall for texture but it didn’t come out very well in the pic. I had to hang a sheet behind it to try and get the colours correct. LOL Now you know what I do at 3am!

A better pic this morning.

Here is Sandy the Snowman.
How is this for a lovely Christmas spirit story for stranded shoppers?

I hope you all are having a magical time too. I’m still wishing for a white Christmas, but I feel as if I have already had so much Christmas magic already. Thank you to everyone who is making it such a wonderful time of the year.
