Progress and a couple of finishes
Block 4 of Christmas Belles by Mum’s Moment
The Garden Angel.
It’s indoor hyacinth and poinsettia time.
Block 5 complete
Candle angel.
I’m loving the scented candles at the moment. That Candied Apple one reminds me of childhood Christmasses.
I’ve finished parts of blocks 6 and 7 so just one more from each block to hand sew tonight ready to machine sew in tomorrow. The borders are cut ready for them.
Look at this gorgeous fabric from Aimee. It begged and begged to be used. I didn’t have the willpower to resist.
I just about had enough for this back-yep another back Belinda. Not enough to align it properly-I even had to do an extra wide binding to cover the shortness. But job done and I like it.
You’ve seen the front before and heard my moan about the borders. But I still couldn’t find anything better so there it is. It will be for Son if I don’t have time to make him Christmas Story by Anni Downs.
This though is definately for Son- an owl bag to keep his collection of little owls in.
Drawstring top so it doesn’t look like a hand bag.
Lots of little last minute bits to make sew buy and bake. How about all of you?
