Elfing for Christmas

I’ve been a bit busy over the weekend. The weather was so wet and rainy. The Lake District has been having floods and bridges have been swept away. The image of Piglet in Pooh’s Blustery Day comes to my head. Those poor people.
The angels are now sewn backed and bound.
Bird house stitchery from a Google “free stitchery” search.
The “free stitchery” that I made into a part applique is all bordered and framed.
I had this idea for a door plaque for a craft room. Elves are by Gail Pan words are my own.
Other side I drew a cup on paper then traced it into calico. Brill! Now people can know whether to disturb or not. 🙂
This little elf is hugging a star. I had a bash at proper quilting for this one over the windmills which were made from the off cuts of Stephanie’s quilt. I like it when I can use up bits. Can you tell elves are my fav Christmas characters?

Now for the WIPS:
Tilda’s penguins, snwman and gingerbread men is all bonded ready to sew tonight.
Remember Milly Molly Mandy? I blew up one of the pics in my book, then traced it onto calico and using pencils I coloured it in and stitched round it.
This is a free stitchery from Joy one of the Gum Tree Designers. Download in link.
Owl is all stitched -again a “free search” result from an 1898 stitchery book.
Lastly these are on the floor in progress. Prairie points are needing to be added next.
So that is all I’ve been up to. I’ll catch up with all of you now.
