In the craft room

Gardener’s Journal by Anni Downes is now complete. I will attempt a pieced back as I have left overs. Excuse the mess. The floor is getting crowded in there.
This was the last block. I’ll be binding it in the same dark chocolate as the inner border. I ran out of 505 sticky spray so it’s not layered up yet.
Teresa of Sewing Trials sent me these wonderful bag of goodies to celebrate her 50th blog post. They are so well made and will help me get organised when I go to sewing classes. Thank you so much Teresa I really need to be organised more. 🙂
I made a tunic from the pumpkin orange wool I got from a car boot sale in a box with lots of other yarn. I think it is a wool nylon blend as it’s very strong.
I had a bash at smocking knitting, following a Noro pattern.
Not bad. Just neatening the arm holes left to do then I can tick it off my big scarey To Do List.
Want to see some proper finishes? Felt and Fabric wallhanging.
Needle-felted leaves. Stem stitch branches and blanket stitch applique.
Little felt fob.
Now these are sneak peeks of some things I am doing with Simone. I’ll reveal when she is ready too.

Then there is this stitchery 8/9 of Gail Pan’s Christmas Wish BOW which I am doing with Simone, Karen and Lynn. Last one next Sunday!

Off to Lancaster today (where the Pendle witches were tried in 1612). I’ll catch up with you all when I get back.
