Sue Spargo, Joy BOW 3,

I’m currently working on the final round of Folklore by Sue Spargo. This is the bonding so far -I didn’t reverse any of her pattern so they aren’t as they appear in the book. I’ll be taking them with me tomorrow on a long weekend trip with sewing friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I’m currently cutting the log cabins for the corners.
As I wont be here on Sunday, this is this week’s Block of the Week (BOW) from a free pattern by Gail Pan. Simone Lynn Karen and I are doing this together to ensure we get it done.
There was a big air show here last weekend. I caught this pic of the Red Arrows display team in action. Sadly I didn’t have my camera when we collected dog food and the huge Typhoon was manoevering in the sky. The engine noise make your heart vibrate and it could turn like a Peregrine Falcon. Amazing craft. A Vulcan also put in an appearance but I missed it vowing not to try to go across town with thousands of cars coming to the show and only 3 routes in and out of town. Pics of the aircraft are in the links.

Have a lovely weekend,
