Witch, sewing case, jumper

My Patched Pumpkin witch has a friend made by daughter. Sweet! I forgot to photograph her before now.
Outside of sewing case in wool felt.
Inside sewing case with pockets for scissors and thimble and a heart pincushion again in wool felt.
6-12m jumper for Bailey with a button back cable front and curled neck.
Cable close up.

I think I’m overdoing it a bit at the moment as I keep needing to sit down. LOL At least I can craft sitting. I think boredom has got to be the worst thing ever. I find it so impossible to simply sit and do nothing. Wonder if it’s something pathological? 🙂

I have finally managed to finish putting the books in order on the newly painted shelves. Hubby moved the rail holding the big cross stitch wool rug/wallhanging I made earlier higher up so the bookcases could go underneath. Today I filled the old holes and painted over them Big tick off my list. I love the Quick Drying Polyfiller which comes in a tube like a huge toothpaste. It is ideal for hole filling with no sanding.

I’ve just started a jumper for son. Again 100% wool like my swing cardi but this time in a blue marl. I think it will look wonderful with jeans for now and linen shorts in the summer. With his red-ish hair colouring he should look so smart. He picked a pattern from Sublime 602 booklet.

The link shows a blue hooded version of what he was wanting. It’ll be easy enough but time consuming. I so want to do a frilly bolero for my daughter for Christmas too.

Other items on my list are things to make for the wonderfully creative people I craft with at Patched Pumpkin. Ooo I wish I was faster. 🙂
