Back from My Birthday Trip
Just before we left I made a couple of little bags for a couple of fellow birthday ladies.
I had to use horrible Maths to make them work.
Then wrapped them up to go in the post.
This robin greeted us when we arrived.
I saw him in this view from the window.
Here’s a clue about where we are- a Welsh daffodil.
The house is centre right in the photo tucked at the bottom of a mountain.
Early flowers- Camelia
Rhodedendron
Mount Snowdon.
This tiny cottage was where we spent my birthday.
It was a special place where the author of Rupert Bear lived.
Daughter played with marzipan to decorate the cake.
I wont tell you how many candles.
This chaffinch was a regular visitor to the garden.
It wasn’t all about staying inside. We visited Harlech Castle.
The Gatehouse from inside.
Model of the castle in the days when the sea came near its walls.
I brought back some wool from fences with me. It was washed, carded and made into petals.
I used some coloured wool to make this trug full of roses for Spring.
Exciting news next time.
