End of year makings
Have you noticed the pastel colours in the sky at the moment?
I decided to use a couple of Athill Range Charm packs to make this “Summer’s Day” Schnibbles.
I tried having the arrows pointing everywhere like in the pattern, but it made the mini quilt lose its tranquil feeling.
I have a new footstool- it is upholstered, so more comfy than the woven straw stool I used to have here at the computer. This mini quilt now covers it as it was the wrong colour for this room. (Good for a freebie though.)
I used a cream and white dot fabric for the backgrounds and borders.
I decided to greet the New Year with some new cushions. (There was a 20% off sale on when I went to get a cushion pad for Yvonne W’s cushion).
Remember these German fabrics I bought in Holland nearly 2 years ago?
What could be better than having mushrooms, red dots and stripes to give a bright start to the New Year?
So for now I wish you a celebratory New Year’s Eve
and a wonderful 2013 full of inspiration.
Thank you all for making 2012 so much fun in Blogland.
