Pampering and Makings
Last night daughter and I each had a pamper area of the living room. I soaked my feet while stuffing pincushions. Well I’d hate to be idle. The Body Shop’s Peppermint Foot Scrub is wonderful after wearing sandals all day.
A set of lavender bags from the top down-a pair to put inside shoes/trainers, a pair for drawers and a pair to hang in a wardrobe.
The Night Before Chrsitmas block 5 stitchery is done- just need to make some stars for it.
Progress on Block 4 of Busy Little Christmas Elves progress. Will share the finished block on the 2nd May.
The tiny booties and mittens to go with the beret. I will try to make the shoes in a larger size.
The finished pincushions from the offcuts of a Thimbleberries BOM class. I’ll give these to the members who gave me the offcuts to make them.
And lastly Block 2 of Lynette Anderson’s Crazy Christmas made with the “quilt as you go” method. I really like this way of quilting as I don’t end up with a mammoth job at the end of finishing the top and I can use leftovers for backs rather than have to buy a large amount of backing.
I’ll pop in and catch up with you all as soon as I can. Just been swimming so need to go flop for a while.
