Yesterday my 70 year old neighbour Joyce had afternoon tea in town. We had a whale of a time. She’s the sort of person who lights up a room when she enters and comes alive in company if you know what I mean- a real people person. It’s so lovely to have people like her around.
Both she and I are worried by a developer buying the house behind ours and wanting to turn it into flats. Already trees have been sawn in the garden so he may be planning to turn it into a car park for the flat residents. Neither of us want that sort of noise and lack of privacy. We’ve both expressed our concern to the council as the man needs planning permission to do what he is planning.
