I’m so glad to see you here. It is using WordPress instead of my old blogger site so things are a bit different.
First a Craft Olympic round-up. Above is the Granny Square Crochet Blanket. It is my 1st entry for the “New” category hosted by Sylvia.
A stitchery mini quilt called “Betsy’s Closet is my 1st entry in the “Special” category.
This drop stitch knitted scarf in a merino yarn is my 2nd finish in the “New” category.
So now for some new things:
I made my 1st crochet bag from some Kotina yarn I bought with Ulla in Finland.
The round base and flower details came from Attic 24s blog tutorials.
I did extra rows at the join of the base and sides to give it a bit more structure. As you can see, it is possible to fit many balls of wool in it. I was impressed!
Bungle is photo bombing again!

The Mary Engelbreit is gorgeous, as are the FQs, lavender pincushion, and craft papers.

Thank you Deb for this bundle of marvellousness. The wall hanging is now up in here and the magazine read. Thank you also for the fabric, tea towel and pattern booklet, raspberry body mousse, cards, charm pack and the wonderful shade of red book to write in.
I told Deb that the book was the perfect shade of red to gate crash a wedding wearing, complete with mysterious dark glasses and sit at the back of the church. 🙂 People would always wonder… giggle.
