Quilting Mouse and yarn finishes

The grey/black version of the chunky yarn jumper is finished. image

I used up ball ends of reds, Brown’s and greys to make this charity dog blanket. It is doubled over in the picture. It will go to a shelter dog in need of a home, as a Christmas present.

I have finally pieced Quilting Mouse by Nikki Tervo after a long hiatus in the craft room. It feels good to sew properly again.

All the sweet stitcheries put together make a lovely, girly quilt. You found a nice combination of fabrics for the little squares and all frames. – Finishing a jumper would take me years!

  • A lovely Christmas present. Is it Lila modeling?
Love your little mouse quilt. The embroideries of different sizes fit great with the prints. I like that the embroideries are “framed”. So glad you are back to crafting again. We’ve missed you.

I enjoy FB, but I still love reading your blog as well and seeing in detail what you’ve been up to creations wise! What a lovely sweater, I really like the style of it. For yourself or a gift? Also that dog blanket is so nice and your model looks to be enjoying it. Your mouse quilt is adorable, all that stitching and as always your work it perfect, I love your fabrics in it. Really cheery and adorable!

LOVE this grey version of the chunky cable jumper… this is such a great, versatile clothing piece! Looks like Tia had a good time “testing” the give-away Christmas blanket! I like those reds, browns & greys together–very warm and pretty for cold days. The finished QM quilt top is BEAUTIFUL! I love the almost sugary pinks & blues that add to the already BIG sweet factor of this quilt. I so admire your stitchery quilts! Such a SUPER finish this one! Glad you’re finding your way back more and more to your craft room to create. :o) ((HUGS))
